East Coast Sweetness

Thin Cover? Not at the 'Bush...

After a hectic weekend of travel, I finally had a chance to sample some of the 40+ inches last week’s storm dropped on the spine of the greens.  Visibility was terrible and the wind was cooking, but the pow in the Sugarbush trees was unbelievable.  The heavy wet snow and warm temperatures of Thursday / Friday set up a great base, and there was a fresh 8″ on top.  The mountain was empty, and as long as the weather stays cool the woods should be good for a while.  Remember, if you don’t get out now you’ll be one year older when you do.
